The project
The Mako Foundation commissioned a mural for the Vista del Mar school campus in Southern California.
A school wall has to hold a young audience's attention every day for years and be something the school is proud to put its name to. Working with a foundation, the design answered to three audiences at once: the funder, the staff and the students who use the space every day.
